Hey Leute,

die Spargelsaison ist so gut wie vorbei, schade! Deswegen möchte ich euch auf den letzten Drücker trotzdem noch eins meiner Lieblings-Spargelrezepte vorstellen. 

Diese leckeren Spargel-Blätterteig-Nester sind in Nullkommanix zubereitet und ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus. Was ihr dafür braucht?

You need (8 Nester)

• 1 Fertig-Blätterteig (schon ausgerollt)
• 1/2 Bund Spargel (circa 250g)
• ca. 80g Frischkäse
• etwas frisch gehobelten Parmesan
• ca. 50ml Balsamicoessig
• Pfeffer, frisches Meersalz

How to

Entrollt den Blätterteig und schneidet ihn ihn 8 gleichgroße Quadrate. Mit Hilfe einer Gabel stecht ihr nun einen ca. 1 cm breiten Rand an jeder Seite ein (siehe Foto) und durchlöchert den Innenraum der Quadrate ebenfalls etwas. In das innere Quadrat gebt ihr etwas Frischkäse und verstreicht ihn gleichmäßig. Darauf hobelt ihr etwas von dem frischen Parmesankäse.

Nun schneidet ihr die holzigen Enden vom Spargel ab und schneidet die Stangen in ca. 3-4 gleichgroße Stücke. Diese gebt ihr nun nebeneinander auf den Frischkäse. Hierüber hobelt ihr nun wieder etwas Parmesan und würzt alles mit dem Pfeffer.

Die Nester kommen jetzt bei 200 Grad für circa 12-15 Minuten in den vorgeheizten Backofen. Schaut hin und wieder nach, sobald der Blätterteig goldbraun ist, ist er fertig.

Währenddessen gebt ihr den Balsamicoessig in eine Pfanne oder einen Topf und lasst ihn bei mittlerer Hitze reduzieren bis eine Art Sirup entsteht. Dadurch entfaltet er ganz besonders intensive und leckere Aromen.

Sobald die Spargelnester fertig sind, holt ihr sie aus dem Ofen und beträufelt sie vorsichtig mit der Balsamicoreduktion. Hierauf gebt ihr dann etwas frisches Meersalz und noch etwas gehobelten Parmesan.

Wie ihr seht ist das Ganze wirklich kinderleicht und absolut unkompliziert. Die Nester eignen sich übrigens auch gut als kleine Vorspeise, wenn ihr ein komplettes Menü machen wollt, denn sie sind sehr leicht bekömmlich.

This idea of digital archeology has been explored by Graphic Designer Boris Meister from ECAL University of Art and Design, Lausanne Switzerland. The book, Above the Cloud is an atlas about social networks archeology, death and digital marks left in distress on the internet. Over 6 million Facebook accounts belong to dead people or ‘Ghosts’, and Meister explores how people continue ‘Semi-Living’ through interactions from friends.

Epitaphs are also explored through the last messages written on social networks before dying. An example is Taylor Sauer who posted:  “I can’t discuss this now. Driving and facebooking is not safe! Haha.” on Facebook one minute before she had a fatal car accident.

Hey, my name’s Laura. I’m an illustrator and comic artist from Germany with a huge interest in animation.

You seem to usually work in digital media. Why do you like it so much? What are it’s advantages?
I used to work in traditional media only and I still prefer traditional to digital media.
For me it’s way more difficult to achieve the same results with watercolors or oils.
Digital media really comes in handy for printing. You don’t have so much trouble with scanning and adjusting your colors. Most of my commission work is created digital because it’s so much easier to change colors and redraw parts the customer didn’t like.
You can try things, delete things, try again… It’s an efficient working tool.

You also do lots of fan art! How come?
It’s fun. :) Mostly, it’s just relaxing to take a break from daily work and draw your favorite game or movie character. I love to look at other artists designs and get inspired.

How did you discover your talent for art?
My first drawing I can recall was a rough wobbly stroke, I claimed to be a bee. Boy, I was so proud! Drawing always was something you didn’t have to force me to , it just came naturally. Not very long ago I learned that drawing is about hard work and understanding the basics. I did a lot of life drawing and anatomy studies. Since then I enjoy drawing more than ever before.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still in my little world of magic surrounded by a whole whimsical bunch of tiny creatures. 

If you could have any kind of a superpower.. What would it be and why?
As a kindergartner I always thought it’d be time-saving to fly into the air, without wasting so much time crossing streets and waiting for the lights to turn green… haha, yeah I still like the idea. :)
